Since 2005, Klaus K Hotel has been a hub of hospitality, combining a relaxed atmosphere with high-quality service. Toscanini, our Italian restaurant, is celebrated for its authentic dishes, crafted with fresh ingredients and inspired by the rich traditions of Italian cuisine.

We are now looking for a full-time Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team and oversee daily operations in Toscanini’s kitchen.

About the Role

As Kitchen Shift Leader, you will ensure smooth kitchen operations, lead the team during your shifts, and maintain our high standards for food quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the preparation and execution of dishes during your shifts.
  • Leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Contributing to menu development and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

You are:

  • A skilled and experienced professional with 5+ years in a similar kitchen leadership role.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • A positive, solution-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Familiar with Italian cuisine – a strong asset, but not mandatory.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and team management.
  • A valid hygiene passport.
  • Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage.
