Position Overview:
As a Content Editor with us, you will be part of a dedicated team that collaborates with various channels and departments within Strawberry. You will work with skilled colleagues to create engaging, action-driven, and SEO-optimized content. In this role, no two days will be the same, and you must be able to adapt to the requirements of different channels and write content for various platforms and needs. We are looking for an experienced Content Editor who will work with a cool and talented team at our headquarters in Oslo. You have the motivation and knowledge to elevate Strawberry's content production to the next level, and you are creative, efficient, and structured, thriving in a mix of controlled and uncontrolled chaos combined with a fast pace.

We are an enthusiastic "content team" that works closely with the various channels and departments at Strawberry. Alongside talented colleagues – including designers, social media experts, developers, and e-commerce specialists – you will contribute to creating engaging, action-triggering, and SEO-optimized content. No two days are the same, and you must be able to write content tailored to the channel's requirements, whether it's for strawberry.xx, external websites where we present our hotels, user accounts, social media, or mass communication. We publish content in five languages via five different domains – Norwegian, Swedish, English, Danish, and Finnish – and there will also be some work translating content from Swedish and English into Norwegian.

Qualifications

  • Copywriter and/or relevant marketing education; higher education from a university/college with at least a bachelor's degree, specializing in marketing communication and/or content marketing/content production.

  • Significant experience in content production and content marketing from media, advertising, and/or content agencies and/or advertisers, with proven excellent and documented results.

  • Strong understanding of producing tailored content for different stages of the communication funnel (awareness-consideration-conversion).

  • Broad experience and in-depth knowledge of SEO:

    • Understands what drives organic search and what Google looks for.

    • Experience writing based on search insights.

    • Tracks content and optimizes it.

  • Familiarity and experience with project management and enjoys leading smaller cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.

  • Strong technical understanding and experience with various publishing systems (we work in Contentful).

  • Must have "a good pen" and be able to make various descriptions customer-friendly and engaging.

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, with a good understanding of Swedish.
