Situated on Rønvikfjellet, overlooking the stunning Norwegian landscape, Wood Hotel Bodø is a newly opened hotel from 2024 and a unique destination built primarily from sustainable wood. As an Outdoor Resort, the outdoors is one of our most important spaces, offering guests immersive experiences in nature alongside world-class hospitality. With 177 rooms and apartments, a restaurant, bar, café, rooftop wellness retreat, event spaces, and an outdoor adventure hub, we provide an experience where nature and hospitality blend seamlessly.

We are always on the lookout for talented and dedicated individuals who share our commitment to excellence - in this particular case on-callers for our Front of House Team to start as soon as possible

We are looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our growing team. As part of Wood Hotel Bodø, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience, ensuring high standards of service, and contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling phone calls and emails
  • Planning guests’ stay and following up with guests before arrival to ensure a seamless experience at check-in and during their stay
  • Welcoming guests and being a host at check-in
  • Ensuring guest requests are followed up and followed through
  • Ensuring payments are made and followed up in a timely manner
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints and issues, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others
  • Ensuring good and swift communication within the team and between departments 
  • Always up to date on Outdoor experiences to reccommend
  • Making sure all actions are in line with our brand values
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality and create memorable guest experiences
  • Maintain high standards of service and professionalism
  • Embrace and promote sustainability as a core value of our hotel
  • Take initiative and contribute ideas to enhance the guest experience

What We Look For:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • A passion for service, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.
  • You either speak one of the Scandinavian languages or English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

The positions are on-call positions, reporting to the Front of House Manager.
