Your Responsibilities:
* Culinary Excellence: Prepare dishes with precision and passion, in accordance with established procedures, routines, and profitability goals.
* Mise en Place Expert: Execute daily mise en place for à la carte service, lunch, and banquet dinners, ensuring seamless service.
* Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, food safety (IK-Mat), staffing, and coaching.
* Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels, and minimizing waste.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experienced Professional: Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating your culinary expertise.
* Culinary Education: A culinary education is preferred, but relevant experience and formal training can compensate.
* Flexible Team Player: Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about food and service, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
* Independent Decision-Maker: Comfortable multi-tasking and making decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team.
* Problem Solver: Ability to turn challenges into opportunities, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high standards under pressure.
