The Strawberry hotels are organized in four operational divisions, where each division ensures the success of their portfolio of well known and loved hotel brands. The select and limited service division is home to about 100 hotels from Comfort, Home and our new hotel brand Stopover. This is where you come in! We are looking for a People Director for the select and limited service division, who will build and execute the people strategy for the division, and ensure a great collaboration with the central people team in Strawberry. You’ll report to the Chief Operating Officer for the division and be a member of the division's leadership team.

Your main focus will be on helping the division’s leaders score healthy people metrics for the 3500 employees in the Comfort, Home and Stopover hotels chains. For this you will have great support from the central people function in Strawberry that delivers all people products and programs that run across the divisions. You’ll lean on this team to secure strategy execution in your division, and be an important stakeholder in development of future central people programs and products.

What will you be doing?

  • Employee & manager experience: Implementation and continuous improvement of people programs and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance development and talent reviews.
  • Leadership development: Ensure the division effectively identifies, develops, and grows a strong future leader pipeline.
  • Culture & engagement: Drive the implementation of company wide culture and engagement initiatives. Work systematically to identify areas in need of improved culture and engagement and implement solutions.
  • People metrics: Monitor and follow up on People related metrics such as,turnover, eNPS and sick leave. Implement action plans to maintain and improve results.
  • Executive recruitment: Ensure quality hiring for strategically important roles, either by leading the process or by contracting external hiring services.

  • Employer branding: Implement group employer branding strategy, and manage brand specific employer branding initiatives that are relevant to the brands in your division.

We also think you have:

  • Strong foundation in Swedish or Norwegian employment law.
  • Experience working as a trusted advisor to business leaders in complex people cases
  • Experience and interest in facilitating trainings and workshops
  • Experience from building and executing programs in several areas in the employee lifecycle (employer branding, hiring, onboarding, team, people & leadership development, retention).

The role will be located in Stockholm or Oslo, and you should be prepared to travel to our hotels on a regular basis.

What do we offer?

  • A challenging and influential position in one of the Nordic's most expansive and exciting hotel companies.
  • The opportunity to work with a portfolio of strong and beloved hotel brands.
  • A supportive, trusting and people-first culture
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Great employee discounts, including staff and friends & family rates at our hotels.
