Shape the Future of Hospitality at Strawberry

At Strawberry, we're not just a hotel company anymore – we're building a universe of experiences. We're transforming the hospitality landscape through innovation and technology, and 2023 marked a major milestone with the launch of our new mother brand, Strawberry. This exciting evolution creates countless opportunities for growth and impact, and we're looking for a passionate and skilled Data & Insight Analyst to join our Sales & Profit Data Product Team and help us shape the future of travel.

Our business goal is to put heads in beds with profitability and sustainability in mind. As part of our team, you will build data products that serve the revenue management team, the sales teams, the Planet sustainability team, and other commercial teams. This role is a crucial bridge between our data engineers who build the data pipelines and our business analysts who leverage the insights you'll help uncover.

Be a Data-Driven Force:

As a Data & Insight Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in empowering Strawberry to become a truly data-driven organization. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust analytical solutions, with a strong emphasis on semantic modeling, data integrity, and efficient reporting to provide a clear picture of our overall performance and financial health.

  • Semantic Model Design and Implementation: Design and implement comprehensive semantic models that accurately reflect business logic and facilitate efficient data analysis.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using our data visualization tools to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and translate complex data insights into clear, concise narratives.
  • Data Infrastructure Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure the efficient utilization of our data warehouse and related data infrastructure.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Champion data quality initiatives, including data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Reporting Excellence: Maintain and optimize our reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Data Storytelling: Communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, effectively translating data into actionable narratives.
  • Continuous Growth: Proactively develop your skills and stay ahead of the curve with the latest data analysis techniques.
  • Culture Champion: Foster a self-service analytics culture, lead data education initiatives, and identify opportunities for automation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with a strong ability to collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A meticulous approach and unwavering commitment to data quality.

What You'll Need:

  • BSc/BA in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field).
  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency or ability to be proficient with our data stack: Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Solid working knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouses and SQL.

What We Offer:

  • Real Impact: Be a part of a dynamic transformation and contribute directly to our success story.
  • Empowerment: Work in a flat organization with trust, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
  • Growth & Development: Access professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
  • Fun & Community: Enjoy a vibrant work environment with plenty of social events and team-building activities.
  • Fantastic Perks: Benefit from great employee discounts, including staff and friends & family rates at our hotels.
  • Flexible Work: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid model, with three days of in-person collaboration at our Oslo or Stockhholm HQ.

We do not offer remote positions; candidates must be located in Oslo or Stockholm.
