Are you a passionate and creative Chef ready to step up and lead your station in one of Oslo's most dynamic hotel kitchens? Clarion Hotel Oslo is seeking an experienced, ambitious Chef to elevate our culinary standards.
As a Chef at Clarion Hotel Oslo, you will be a key culinary driver, responsible for running a designated kitchen section, maintaining exceptional quality, and contributing to menu innovation. You will work across a variety of service areas, including high-volume breakfast, á la carte, and high-end conferences and banquets. This role demands leadership, consistency, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
Section Management: Effectively manage and lead your assigned kitchen station (e.g., Garde Manger, Hot Line, Pastry) during service.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving your station meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
Production & Prep: Manage daily mise en place, production lists, and stock rotation efficiently.
Menu Input: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs on menu development, testing new recipes, and seasonal dish concepts.
Hygiene & Safety: Strictly adhere to all internal hygiene procedures (HACCP/IK Mat) and maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization within your section.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior chefs and kitchen assistants when needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Proven, relevant experience (minimum 3 years) as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or high quality hotel kitchen.
Culinary Skill: Comprehensive knowledge of professional cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
Work Ethic: Ability to excel under pressure, maintain composure during busy periods, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Team Leadership: A positive, professional attitude and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a diverse team.
Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Language: Fluent working knowledge of English or Norwegian (both written and verbal).
