At Strawberry, we're not just a hotel company - we're building a universe of experiences. We're transforming the hospitality landscape through innovation and technology.
Are you a strategic thinker passionate about creating a seamless and secure technology experience? We are seeking a Device Manager to take full ownership of our entire end-user computing fleet.
In this critical role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle, from procurement and deployment to security and disposal, for all laptops, workstations, and mobile devices across our Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS environments.
Your mission is to ensure our employees have the reliable, high-performing tools they need to be productive and successful.
Own the Strategy: Develop and own the end-to-end lifecycle strategy for all corporate devices, from hardware evaluation and vendor selection to secure retirement.
Define Security & Policy: Serve as the primary stakeholder for all device-related settings and security policies, ensuring robust configurations aligned with company standards.
Master the MDM: Oversee and optimize our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform to ensure all devices are properly enrolled, compliant, and managed effectively.
Govern Software: Manage the packaging, distribution, and lifecycle of business applications across all managed devices.
Lead & Collaborate: Manage key vendor relationships and align with internal partners (Security, Service Desk, Infrastructure) to create a cohesive technology ecosystem.
Drive Key Projects: Serve as the primary IT stakeholder for all end-user computing requirements within our new hotel development projects.
Be the Expert: Act as the final escalation point (third-line support) for complex technical issues concerning client devices, operating systems, and related software.
Manage Operations: Oversee the enterprise print environment and direct the procurement, inventory, and supply chain for all end-user hardware.
We're looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between technology and the business.
You likely have:
Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams and a strong ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of managing diverse device environments (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS) and expertise with modern MDM platforms.
Exceptional Communicator: You can clearly articulate a vision and influence stakeholders at all levels. You are an excellent active listener and relationship-builder.
Problem Solver: You are structured, organized, and have a great capacity for solving complex problems, both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency: A strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of ITIL and Scrum methodologies
- Formal Project Management experience
Real Impact: Be a part of a dynamic transformation and contribute directly to our success story.
Empowerment: Work in a flat organization with trust, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Growth & Development: Access professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
Fun & Community: Enjoy a vibrant work environment with plenty of social events and team-building activities.
Fantastic Perks: Benefit from great employee discounts, including staff and friends & family rates at our hotels.
Flexible Work: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid model, with three days of in-person collaboration at our Oslo or Stockholm HQ
We do not offer remote positions; candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Oslo or Stockholm.
