Our People Experience team delivers people advisory services across four markets. We have more than 1000 leaders across 250 hotels who use our self-service tools and support services. The most complex cases make their way to us for hands-on support. 

As our Director of People Advisory you’ll lead a team of People Managers & Advisors in Norway and Sweden and work hands on with leadership support and people cases in Sweden. The right person for the role will mix strategy with operational HR. You thrive when you build new tools one minute, and use them to solve cases the next. 

You’ll report to the VP People Experience, and work from our offices at Solna in Stockholm. You’ll need to travel regularly to be present for your team.

What you'll be doing

Your work will span from high-level strategy to hands-on support, specifically focusing on:

  • Leading your team: Be present for your team members in Sweden and Norway, problem solving and removing bottlenecks. 
  • Building the Toolbox: You will own and evolve our library of templates, guides, and automated processes. You’ll ensure that being a leader at Strawberry is easy and compliant by designing tools with a "customer-first" perspective.
  • Empowering Leaders: You’ll design and deliver engaging training—from LiveTalks and webinars to e-learning content—ensuring our leadership team is confident in navigating the employee lifecycle.
  • Expert Advisory: You will provide high-level advisory on complex cases. This includes planning case strategies, attending critical employee meetings, and quality-assuring all legal documentation.
  • Driving Union Relations: As the main point of contact for central unions in Sweden, you will lead negotiations for collective agreements and salary reviews, and manage coordination in the event of industrial action.
  • Governance & Compliance: You will stay ahead of legislative changes in Sweden, implementing necessary updates across the organization and maintaining self-audit routines.

  • You have extensive experience within employment law and leaders support in Sweden and a deep understanding of local legislation and governmental requirements.

  • You are a skilled communicator who can translate complex legal requirements into inspiring training and actionable advice.
  • You use data and case trends to identify gaps in our current "toolbox" and proactively fix them before they become issues.
  • You combine warmth and clarity to lead the team to success
  • You speak fluent Swedish
