At Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport, we’re redefining premium hospitality with urban sophistication, high standards, and an atmosphere that’s both vibrant and welcoming. We’re looking for a Chef who knows that every unforgettable stay begins with a great first impression and carries through every interaction.

As a part of our Kitchen Team you help create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our culinary staff you'll be preparing delicious, high-quality dishes, contributing to menu development, and ensuring food is presented at its best for both a la carte and banquet.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing dishes in accordance with the procedures, routines and profitability goals that have been established.
  • Daily mise en place for a la carte, lunch and dinner.
  • Keep good communication with the immediate manager and the rest of the team.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

This is a permanent part-time position, with about 30 average hours per 3-week rota, and a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Is this you?

  • Experienced from culinary education or formal training
  • Nordic kitchen experience for a la carte and Meetings & Events for minimum of 1 year
  • Flexible and reliable with enthusiasm for food and service
  • Good communicator in English
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and making decisions independently
  • Ready to take morning, evening and night shifts, and even early morning (3 am) breakfast shifts.

Bonus points for:

  • Extensive hotel, kitchen and restaurant experience.
  • Skills in Finnish language
  • Turning challenges into opportunities, managing multiple tasks, and keeping high standards, even when things get tough.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
