We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our team of experts.


Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand a powerful client base, building and maintaining relationships and securing business from MICE, corporate clients and key tour operators
  • Represent The Thief at trade fairs, workshops, customer events and external activities both nationally and internationally
  • Strategically plan and execute on-site viewings and sales-driving activities within the hotel
  • Collaborate closely with in-house sales, F&B, Front of House, the commercial department and the central sales team 
  • Actively contribute to the development of activities that strengthen the hotel's position

  • Solid experience in sales, preferably within the hotel or travel industry
  • Deep understanding of the luxury and high-end market segment 
  • Strong existing network and comprehensive knowledge of the corporate and MICE segment
  • Strong social, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate previous strong sales results
  • Combines commercial understanding with a strategic perspective and strong operational execution ability
  • Is proactive, independent and a natural collaborator
  • Dares to challenge established frameworks and contribute with new ideas
  • Communicates fluently in Scandinavian and English, both written and oral

The Sales Manager will report to Marianne Frostad, Director of Sales. The position is full time.
