Host (90h/3weeks)

We offer a part time and permanent employment contract, 90h/3 weeks. This is a two-shift job consisting of morning and evening shifts. 

Hotel St. George reception Host is guests first contact at the Hotel. They are dedicated to creating luxurious moments of magic and joy to take home for our guests with integrity. Their main purpose is to make sure our guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcoming guests, checks guests in and out while ensuring all details on their reservations are correct.

• Enthusiastically acquire new Strawberry Members

• Actively recommend our hotel's services to all our guests

• Handles preauthorizations and payments for reservations, making sure registration cards are filled, updated and filed. 

• Host is responsible for answering guests' questions before, during and after their stay as well as handling their requests through email and phone. 

• They also work as concierge providing authentic information about the hotel and Helsinki. 

Is This You?

• You’re passionate about delivering premium guest experiences that are welcoming, joyful, and unforgettable

• You’re adaptable and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments

• You have an eye for detail and know how to elevate the everyday into something extraordinary

• You have education in the hospitality industry and good communication skills

• Your language skills cover at least Finnish and English and you have a liquor and hygiene certificate. 

Hotel St. George

Situated by the beautiful Old Church Park in the heart of Helsinki, our 148 individually decorated rooms and five suites offer moments of rest and tranquility. Hotel St. George also features the St. George Care spa, offering relaxing wellness moments, the St. George Bakery, open to the entire city, and the elegant event venue and bar in the glass-roofed Wintergarden. The hotel also features a modern Asian restaurant, Boon Nam, operated by our partner.
