We are now looking for a new Conference Host to join our Conference Operations team.
Skills & qualifications needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and adaptable to the last minute changes that occur before and during the event
Good eyes for details, and very well organized
The willingness and open mindedness to learn operating our in-house AV
Positive and guest first attitude
Hands on problem solver
Flexible and changing work schedule: able to work morning/evening (occasionally weekend & late night shifts)
Team-player, with collaborative mindset

Responsibilities
The seamless execution of conferences, meetings and corporate events
Welcoming & assisting the organizers, you are the main point of contact for them, coordinating event logistics, assisting with our in-house AV equipment.
Ensuring to set up the morning and afternoon refreshments in their breakout rooms in accordance with our standards.
Make sure to keep their meeting rooms & breakout rooms organized, and presentable according to our Villa standards.
Address any guest concerns efficiently, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience
Ensure the events comply with health, safety and hotel regulations. This includes that you are able to point out the fire escape routes, double check that everything in the meeting room is in accordance with fire safety.
Answering phone calls & emails regarding information about the groups, general operations
Work closely with the Conference & Event Planning department in order to ensure the success of the meetings and encourage future business opportunities
Informing the involved departments about changes regarding the group (schedule, number of attendees, allergies etc.)
Daily use of websites like Event Temple, Flexkeeping
