At Strawberry, we're not just a hotel company – we're building a universe of experiences. We're transforming the hospitality landscape through innovation and technology, and 2023 marked a major milestone with the launch of our new mother brand.

As our Security Specialist, you will join our central security team to play a key role in safeguarding our digital landscape. We’re looking for someone who goes beyond basic compliance; you will be the vital link between our innovative technology and a secure, high-quality experience for both our guests and employees.

What You’ll Do

You will be a key driver in our security posture, working across the entire organization to mitigate risk and sharpen our defenses:

Risk & Improvement: Work closely with System, Service, and Platform owners to assess risks and implement smart security improvements.

Incident Response: Oversee the rapid detection, forensic investigation, and successful resolution of security breaches.

Endpoint Excellence: Partner with Device Management to optimize EDR configurations, ensuring robust protection and proactive threat hunting across our entire fleet.

Network Guarding: Team up with Network Infrastructure to enforce security standards, ensuring deep traffic visibility and seamless response capabilities globally.

Application Integrity: Conduct risk assessments for internal and third-party apps, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified before they can be exploited.

Compliance & AI: Implement security controls aligned with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and the upcoming European AI Act, treating LLM and AI platforms as high-change services.

Framework Alignment: Use the CIS Controls framework to conduct gap analyses and drive our security maturity forward.

Security Culture: Be an ambassador for security, strengthening our collective culture through engaging awareness activities and training.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent communication skills in English, as well as Norwegian or Swedish. You can translate complex "tech-speak" into actionable advice.
  • Previous experience in IT security training and a passion for building a security-first mindset in others.
  • A proactive approach to threat hunting and a calm head during incident responses.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT Security or a related field.
  • Proven, relevant work experience in a security-focused role.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Client security, Network security, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

What We Offer

Real Impact: Be part of a dynamic transformation and contribute directly to our success story.

Empowerment: Work in a flat organization built on trust, autonomy, and the power of individual initiative.

Growth & Development: Continuous opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Fun & Community: A vibrant work environment with plenty of social events and team-building.

Fantastic Perks: Great employee discounts (staff/friends/family rates) at all our hotels.

Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid model (three days in-person at our Oslo or Stockholm HQ).

Note: We do not offer remote positions; candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Oslo or Stockholm.
