We are now looking for a Meeting & Events Manager to lead and further develop our Social and Events operations. This is a key leadership role and an integral part of the Hotel At Six Management Team, with full responsibility for people, performance, and guest experience within the Meeting & Events department.
Part of Petter Stordalen’s Nordic Hotels & Resorts, At Six is a contemporary art and design hotel redefining modern luxury. With 343 rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, and over 3,000 m² of flexible event space, we are one of Stockholm’s most dynamic destinations for meetings, events, and social gatherings.
As Meeting & Events Manager, your main mission is to ensure that our Social areas and event operations are delivered at the highest possible level – both in guest experience and commercial performance.
You are responsible for the daily operation of the Meeting & Events department, leading your team with presence, clarity, and inspiration. You work proactively to stay one step ahead, ensuring smooth execution, strong collaboration across departments, and memorable experiences for every guest and client.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational excellence, people development, financial responsibility, and strategic growth.
Full operational responsibility for Meeting & Events / Social FOH
Lead, coach, and develop your team through recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance follow-up
Scheduling, staff planning, payroll approval, and workforce productivity
Budget and result responsibility, including forecasting in collaboration with Director of Sales and F&B Manager
Ensure KPIs are met and continuously improved (productivity, Loopon, Peakon, guest satisfaction)
Purchasing responsibility, inventory control, and invoice approval
Actively develop Social areas and catering offerings together with F&B Manager
Coordinate closely with Sales, project leaders, Front Office, outlets, and other departments before and during events
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, safety, fire, hygiene, and company policies
Lead by example and create a strong, respectful, and motivating working environment
Actively work with innovation and activation of Social and SUS venues
Maintain strong client relationships and a high level of detail orientation throughout the guest journey
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, follow-ups, menus, and documentation
Has proven experience in Meetings & Events, hospitality, or operational leadership
Is a confident, present, and inspiring leader who enjoys developing people
Is structured, commercially minded, and comfortable with financial responsibility
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with many stakeholders
Is solution-oriented, proactive, and always focused on guest experience
Enjoys collaboration and understands the power of strong interdepartmental teamwork
Has good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and labor practices
Communicates clearly and professionally in English (Swedish is an advantage)
