Maintenance/ Housekeeping support (summerperiod)

We are currently seeking Maintenance Staff/ Housekeeping support 100% who can help care for the hotel and maintain it to excellent standards. This post requires that you are both practical and have a thorough understanding of technical solutions.

Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget  has 245 rooms, and we have an occupancy of approx 80% in a full year. Together with the housekeeping team and reception team , you are the glue that keeps the house together. 

Curious to know more about the role?

• Day-to-day operation of the building.
• Comply with all rules and regulations related to the safety and operation of the hotel.
• Help out housekeeping team 
• Pick up and help with delivery of laundry to housekeeping 
• Manage suppliers and ongoing service agreements together with the Housekeeping and Technical Manager
• Day-to-day maintenance including everything from painting and repairs to care of outdoor areas.
• You understand that the needs of the guest take priority and ensure all the hotel facilities and related features are always available.
• You work as sustainably as possible.
• You are flexible around working schedule. - Working days and hours will be arranged as needed, Both evenings and weekends.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a technical background with experience of operational management of complex buildings.
• You have a flexible approach, enjoy solving problems and can be available at short notice.
• Experience from housekeeping is a plus 
• As well as being flexible, we are looking for a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, diligence and a hard-working approach.
• You must be organised, methodical and clear.
• Experience in hotel maintenance is a plus.
