St. George Bakery in the heart of Helsinki is searching for passionate and talented individuals to join our dynamic team for the summer season! If you love the smell of homebaked sourdough, fresh coffee, and providing exceptional service on one of the city's most beautiful terraces, we want to hear from you. What you'll do:

• Crafting the Experience: Accurately recording customer orders—from our signature sourdough breads to specialty coffees and summer cocktails—ensuring dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the bakery team.

• Service with Style: Delivering food and drinks to the tables promptly, ensuring our high-quality standards are met, and checking that every guest is enjoying their St. George moment.

• Bakery Ambassador: Providing attentive and friendly service in our fast-paced shop and terrace, addressing guest questions about our products, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

• Team Synergy: Maintaining excellent communication with the Shift Manager and the rest of the team to ensure smooth transitions between the bakery shop and terrace service.

The Details:

• Position: Summer Worker (Temporary).

• Period: June – August 2026.

• Hours: 90h / 3 weeks.

• Schedule: Requires working varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

You’ll shine here if you are:

• Experienced: You have a background in a high-quality café, bakery, or restaurant environment.

• Enthusiastic: You are flexible, reliable, and genuinely passionate about the hospitality industry.

• A Communicator: You speak English fluently (Finnish is a strong plus) and have a sharp eye for detail.

• Resilient: You are comfortable multi-tasking and maintaining a smile during the busy summer lunch rush.

Bonus points for: 

• An interest in artisanal bread, pastry, and specialty beverages.

• Barista experience & interest in learning.
