We are currently looking for new bartending talents to join Norda Cocktail Bar.

Norda Cocktail Bar is located on the 13th floor of the Clarion Hotel® the Hub, together with restaurant Norda. The nature-inspired decor is colorful and inviting, and the perfect place to enjoy cocktails made from Nordic-distilled spirits (such as BAREKSTEN and HIMKOK), alongside dishes made with fresh, local ingredients and herbs from our very own rooftop garden. Norda Cocktail Bar offers a lovely setting with fine drinks and a relaxing terrace - the perfect place for a fantastic evening with friends or colleagues!  See you on the 13th floor!

What’s the job like?

As a bartender, you are the orchestrator of the bar and responsible for curating unforgettable experiences through your expertly crafted cocktails and attentive service. You are the storyteller who will engage our guests with your knowledge and leave a lasting impression. Your main work tasks include: 

• Serving food and drinks to the bar's guests
• Quality assurance of service and product
• Contribute to the development of bar charts and menus
• Contribute to the development of colleagues and the environment
• Payment handling
• Comply with the Norwegian alcohol law

The position involves shift work on weekdays and weekends. We are offering different positions: 20-100% permanent positions, 20-100% temporary positions (seasonal), and extra help / on-call. Please specify in your application which position type and percentage you are interested in.

• You have relevant experience and good knowledge of spirits, mixology techniques, and flavor profiles.
• You are good with multitasking whether it’s behind the bar or on the floor.
• You are keen to deliver high quality in everything you do and always go the extra mile to exceed the guest's expectations.
• You recognize yourself in our values, which are energy, courage and enthusiasm.
• The position requires that you can communicate well in Norwegian and/or English.
• We rotate between bar and table service, so don't be afraid to talk/interact with guests in an dynamic environment
