Hotel Kämp has, since 1887, offered European grandeur, luxury, and sophistication in the heart of Helsinki. We are a unique luxury hotel with an unparalleled history as the stage for significant events in Finnish culture and business. As a proud member of the international Leading Hotels of the World and the Strawberry group, we are committed to world-class service and continuous evolution.
We are currently seeking a professional and visionary Hotel Manager (Operations Manager) to join our strong team in a permanent position.
This is a role for a leader who thrives in the dynamic heart of hotel operations. You are a truly hands-on leader who inspires and coaches an organization of approximately 40 professionals (Front Office, Concierge Services, Housekeeping & Facility) through your own example.
At the same time, the position requires a strong strategic vision. You will be responsible for the direction of Hotel Kämp’s brand and operational excellence, ensuring we consistently exceed the expectations of our most discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Accountable for daily operations and the seamless execution of luxury standards.
Financial Performance & KPIs: A deep understanding of driving profitability in a hotel environment. You lead through data (GOP, NPS, eNPS) and key performance indicators to achieve financial targets.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Strawberry’s centralized functions, such as the Commercial Team and Finance, to optimize the hotel’s commercial performance.
Brand Stewardship: Develop the guest journey with a strategic mindset, ensuring Hotel Kämp remains the market leader in luxury hospitality.
Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of demanding leadership experience in a luxury & lifestyle hotel environment with a focus on results.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Financial Acumen: The ability to analyze financial metrics and translate them into effective operational actions.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in Finnish and English is essential; Swedish is considered a significant advantage within our Nordic group.
Leadership Style: You are resilient under pressure, an excellent communicator, and a natural driver of change.
An unparalleled opportunity to lead the rooms division of a legendary and globally recognized brand. You will play a central role in the Hotel’s executive team, making strategic decisions that directly impact the hotel's success and future legacy.
Strawberry Benefits: Comprehensive and versatile staff benefits across the entire Strawberry network in the Nordics.
Please apply immediately. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
