Make every hotel stay a masterpiece
At Quality Hotel Sogndal, we redefine first-class hospitality with urban sophistication, high standards and a hotel atmosphere that is both vibrant and welcoming. We are now looking for a Sous Chef who knows that every unforgettable hotel stay starts with a great first impression that continues with every guest interaction.

As part of our kitchen team, you will help create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will prepare delicious, high-quality dishes while contributing to menu development and ensuring that the dishes are presented in the best possible way.

Your responsibilities:
Prepare dishes in accordance with established procedures, routines and profit targets.
Daily organization and planning for à la carte, lunch and dinner.
Have good communication with your manager and other people in the work team.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards employees and guests.
This is a 100% employment with a start date September 1st or as agreed. The service is mostly evening shifts, but breakfast and morning shifts will occur. 

Does this suit you?
Experience from education in gastronomy and restaurant, formal education and work experience from kitchen
Flexible and reliable with enthusiasm for food and customer service
Good communicator with an eye for detail
Comfortable with multitasking and independent decision-making
Responsible and driven
Organized

Extensive work experience from a hotel, kitchen or restaurant.
Good at turning challenges into opportunities, switching between multiple tasks at the same time and maintaining a high standard of work performance, even when challenges and difficulties arise.
Good knowledge in problem solving and a proactive approach to work.
