We're looking for a House Creator with a passion for culture, community, and creativity to join our team at Hobo Copenhagen. Opening in the first quarter of 2027, you will be part in creating the brand and setting the scene from day one. Are you the kind of person who is deeply plugged into the local scene? Someone who can create unforgettable experiences, build energy, connect people, and bring a brand to life through live activations and cultural collaborations? Then keep reading.
Yes, Hobo Copenhagen will be a lifestyle hotel. But more importantly, it will be a community. A place where we live, work, create, learn, and have fun together. A space for the curious, the social, and the young at heart. Since day one, with our sister hotels in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo, Hobo has been about more than rooms, it's about experiences, culture, and connection. With our vibrant restaurant, bar, event spaces, and local footprints, we will be constantly evolving. Always in beta. Always moving. We live by three core values: professional, passionate, and playful—and we expect the same from you.
As our House Creator, you are the voice, eyes, and energy of Hobo Copenhagen. Going far beyond traditional marketing, you will shape how Hobo is experienced through on-site activations, community events, and hyper-local collaborations that bring Copenhagen’s unique culture into our hotel.
You are both strategic and hands-on. Your days will blend long-term brand building with immediate action—whether that's launching a collaboration with a local fashion brand, planning an activation calendar, analyzing performance, or hosting a pop-up with local creatives.
Hobo is a melting pot of local and global talent. While you might not come from hospitality, you bring an active, extensive network within the Copenhagen cultural, art, music, or pop-culture scene, paired with a strong commercial mindset.
To succeed, you must be a natural ideator who understands what drives brand perception in the lifestyle segment. You are positive, flexible, proactive, and always have your finger on the pulse of the city, collaborating across all hotel departments to shape Hobo’s unique market position.
Ideate, create, and execute physical events and activations that engage Hobo's primary audiences, local community, and hotel guests.
Bring the culture of Copenhagen into the hotel, establishing Hobo as a cultural hub through partnerships with local artists, designers, musicians, and innovators.
Build, nurture, and leverage relationships with local creatives, commercial partners, and the surrounding neighbourhood.
Oversee the activation calendar and brand-building initiatives to ensure they align with Hobo's long-term strategy, brand book, and visual identity.
Capture and communicate the live energy of the hotel, ensuring our digital presence authentically reflects the physical experiences and activations happening on-site.
Stay continuously up to date with trends in hospitality, local pop culture, and lifestyle marketing.
Work closely with the General Manager and commercial team to follow results and find new, innovative ways to achieve commercial goals.
A powerful, active connection to Copenhagen's cultural, lifestyle, or hospitality scene.
Strong understanding of brand building, experiential storytelling, and commercial communication.
Proven experience in event concept development, project management, or cultural creation.
Strong social skills with the ability to lead creative processes, convince others of your vision, and collaborate across diverse teams.
Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken, with a sharp eye for tone of voice.
Relevant education or a few years of work experience in a similar position within brand communication, event production, or lifestyle industries.
Have an established, deeply rooted network within the Copenhagen creative scene.
Experienced working with social media platforms, content capturing and photo editing.
Knowledge of working with systems like InDesign and similar.
Have experience launching brand partnerships, cross-industry collaborations, or pop-up concepts.
As a full-time employee at Hobo Copenhagen, you are also a member of Strawberry and Nordic Hotels & Resorts, which gives you a lot of benefits.
A creative playground where your ideas actually come to life.
The chance to shape one of Copenhagen's most dynamic new hotel brands.
A role where no two days are the same and you can leave your personal imprint.
Four free nights at a hotel of your choice in our hotel chain per year.
Staff prices in all chain restaurants and hotels (Strawberry).
This position is a full-time position, part of the hotel’s management team and reporting to the General Manager, Jakob Gjærum. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for evenings and weekends depending on the activation calendar.
If you meet these requirements and are ready to create, connect, and curate Hobo Copenhagen from the inside out, we'd love to hear from you.
Send us your CV and portfolio. To help us get to know you, attach a cover letter, or even better, a short video telling us about yourself and your absolute favorite, hidden cultural spot in Copenhagen.
Application deadline: 2nd of August 2026.
For questions regarding the role, please reach out to General Manager, Jakob Gjærum, via LinkedIn or at [email protected]. Please note that no applications will be accepted via email.
We review candidates continuously, so don't wait too long to apply!
