We are seeking a Breakfast Waiter for Wood Hotel Bodø
At the peak of Bodø, embraced by Northern Norwegian nature and boasting panoramic views of the ocean and mountains, Wood Hotel rises as a beacon of sustainable and warm hospitality. We are redefining premium experiences by combining spectacular architecture with a cozy, vibrant, and down-to-earth atmosphere. Now, we are looking for a Breakfast Waiter who understands that the perfect day starts with a warm smile, a freshly brewed cup of coffee, and a flawless breakfast experience.
As part of our breakfast team, you are the first face our guests meet in the morning. You are a natural early bird who is passionate about great food, enjoys creating a calm yet efficient morning atmosphere, and loves making sure our guests start their day in the best possible way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Setting the morning stage: Welcoming guests with genuine warmth, presenting our breakfast concept, and guiding them to their tables.
Maintaining a premium buffet: Ensuring our breakfast buffet is continuously replenished, beautifully presented, and that food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
Providing attentive table service: Serving coffee and tea, clearing tables efficiently, and handling special dietary requests with care.
Playing as a team: Working closely with the kitchen team and your morning colleagues to ensure a smooth transition from breakfast to lunch service – we lift as one.
We are looking for both full-time and part-time breakfast waiters, with start dates to be agreed upon. Working hours are primarily early mornings, including weekends.
Is This You?
You are a morning person who genuinely enjoys early starts and brings positive energy to the team.
You have experience from a restaurant, hotel breakfast, or high-volume catering environment.
You are reliable, structured, and have an eye for detail, ensuring the buffet always looks inviting.
You stay calm and organized, keeping the rhythm steady even during the busiest peak hours.
Bonus points if you also:
Are a natural problem solver who can turn a busy morning rush into a seamless experience.
Have an interest in Northern Norwegian breakfast traditions and local ingredients.
