At the peak of Bodø, embraced by Northern Norwegian nature and boasting panoramic views of the ocean and mountains, Wood Hotel rises as a beacon of sustainable and warm hospitality. We go beyond offering just a bed for the night – we create an experience that lingers long after our guests leave. A place so warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth that guests feel right at home, surrounded by breathtaking architecture and majestic scenery. Now, we are looking for a Front Office Crew member who wants to be part of our unique hotel team.
As part of our Front Office team, you will be at the very heart of the guest experience – welcoming, guiding, and making sure every stay starts and ends on the best possible note. You create a genuine and personal atmosphere where guests feel truly taken care of. With your energy, attention to detail, and natural way of making people feel valued, you help turn every stay into something special.
Creating the perfect first and last impression: Welcoming each guest with a warm, personal touch that sets the tone for their entire stay.
Mastering the front desk: Managing daily operations, from seamless check-ins and check-outs to handling bookings and guest inquiries.
Being the ultimate local guide: Acting as the go-to person for our guests, offering assistance, insider recommendations about Bodø, and anything that adds to a memorable stay.
Playing as a team: Collaborating closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and high-quality experience for every guest.
This is an on-call position on an as-needed basis. The position requires working varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
You enjoy creating genuine personal connections and have a true passion for making each guest’s stay unique.
You are adaptable, resourceful, and handle whatever the day brings with a positive attitude.
You work well independently and take initiative, while also thriving in a team that supports one another.
You are comfortable communicating clearly in both English and a Scandinavian language.
You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus points for:
Prior experience from a hotel reception or premium customer service.
Experience with Mews or other hotel management systems.
An interest in sustainability and a love for the outdoor life Bodø has to offer.
At Strawberry, we know that diversity is our strength. Different backgrounds, experiences, and ideas enrich us and create a more inspiring work environment.
With us, you become part of a truly unique hotel concept where nature and sustainability take center stage. We take good care of our people, and as an employee, you can look forward to:
An inspiring, fast-paced, and supportive work environment at the top of Bodø.
