Chef (Meetings & Events & À la carte)

We are looking for a passionate and versatile chef for a permanent position in the Klaus K kitchen. In this role, you will get to utilize your skills broadly, and your workdays will be wonderfully varied.

Your primary role will focus on our hotel's high-quality Meetings & Events catering, where you will create culinary experiences for both small meeting groups and large banquets. Because we work as one big team, you will also regularly work shifts in our beloved Italian restaurant, Toscanini. Therefore, strong à la carte experience is a prerequisite for success in this role.

Who are we looking for:

  • A versatile professional: You have strong experience in the dynamic world of Meetings & Events (M&E) catering, complemented by a solid background in à la carte cooking.

  • An adaptable team player: You can smoothly transition between different kitchen operations and adapt quickly to changing situations – whether it's a large banquet or a busy Saturday night at Toscanini.

  • A guardian of quality: You approach cooking with passion and pride. You want to ensure that every plate is top-notch, both visually and in taste.

  • Qualifications: You have a culinary degree and/or strong work experience in similar roles, along with a valid hygiene passport.

What we offer:

  • A permanent position in one of Helsinki's most iconic hotels.

  • A highly versatile role where you can develop your skills in both M&E and the restaurant side.

  • A fantastic, professional, and humorous work community.

  • Comprehensive Strawberry chain staff benefits.

Work starts as soon as a suitable person is found, and we are processing applications already during the application period. Send us your application soon and join the Klaus K story!
