As our Master Data Engineer, you will join our central Master Data Management team, placing you at the heart of everything that happens within our company. You will be designing and building the master data solutions that ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust across all our systems. By transforming business needs into reliable data models, you will empower better decision-making and drive our success story forward.
What You'll Do:
Design, build, and maintain scalable master data solutions on our MDM platform, supporting complex data flows and dependencies across a large, multi-system organization
Partner with key stakeholders to guide how master data is structured, governed, and shared across the organization, balancing business needs with technical scalability
Translate business needs into robust technical designs and data models that deliver measurable value.
Build solutions that enable accurate and consistent master data across enterprise systems, centralizing critical information and streamlining integrations to support business growth.
Act as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with business priorities while maintaining speed, clarity, and quality in delivery.
Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting performance or data quality, keeping the MDM platform secure, efficient, and dependable.
Explore and apply AI and automation to improve data quality, matching, enrichment and efficiency across master data processes.
Foster a culture of open feedback and collaboration, driving continuous improvement in both our solutions and how the team works together.
What You'll Bring:
A genuine interest in how master data shapes business operations, from ensuring accuracy and consistency to designing processes that make information reliable, accessible, and valuable enterprise-wide.
Proven ability to design and develop scalable Master data solutions, from conceptual design through to physical implementation, ideally within large, complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
A structured, solution-oriented mindset paired with strong interpersonal skills and genuine ease operating across organizational boundaries.
Demonstrated experience driving technical initiatives across multiple teams and departments in complex organizations.
Strong influencing skills and the confidence to contribute to cross-department discussions on master data ownership and governance, bridging business needs and technical execution.
What You'll Need:
Strong experience with databases for designing and maintaining high-quality structured data
Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Solid, handson experience with Master Data Management, including data modeling.
A solid understanding of integration patterns and best practices for connecting enterprise systems, ensuring reliable data exchange and synchronization across platforms, particularly within complex, multi-system landscapes.
Proficiency in Java development for building reliable, scalable solutions.
Experience with modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD and API-driven development.
Familiarity with TIBCO EBX or similar enterprise MDM platforms is a strong advantage.
