Hotel St. George is now looking for a Room Service Host & Bellman to join our Guest Services team. This versatile role combines high-quality room service, bellman duties and the seamless day-to-day service of our hotel reception.

You will be one of the most visible faces of our hotel. You will meet guests when they arrive, throughout their stay and often once more before they leave. Your role is not simply about delivering services. It is about anticipating our guests’ needs, making their stay effortless and creating genuinely personal service moments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Room Service Host & Bellman, you will work as part of both our Reception & Room Service teams, and provide a wide range of services to our hotel guests.

In your Room Service duties, you will be responsible for delivering orders to guest rooms and ensuring that the service is smooth, attentive and in line with the high standards of the St. George experience. You will be present for the guest during the delivery and know how to make each interaction feel natural and personal.

As a Bellman, you will be a mobile service professional throughout the hotel. Your responsibilities will include assisting guests with luggage, arranging cars and transportation, guiding guests around the hotel and assisting with other Guest Services tasks as part of the daily hotel operation.

You will work closely with Reception, Concierge and other hotel departments. Every day is different, and that is exactly what makes this role so interesting.

• have good command of English; Finnish and other languages are considered an advantage
• have previous experience in a hotel, reception, concierge, bellman, restaurant or other high-quality customer service role.

Previous hotel experience is an advantage, but your attitude, genuine service mindset and willingness to learn matter more to us.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

This is a part-time position, 60 hours per 3 weeks.

Shifts are scheduled according to the hotel’s operations and include morning, day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.

Start date is negotiable.

Salary is based on the applicable collective agreement and the candidate’s experience.
