About the role

Clarion Hotel is looking for a commercially driven Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing performance across all Clarion Hotels in Norway. You'll act as the vital link between our central Nordic marketing strategy and local execution at each hotel - translating central campaigns into results, driving commercial priorities, and building strong relationships with hotel leadership. This role combines strategic and operational marketing responsibility with hands-on graphic design and campaign production.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Strategic Leadership

Central

  • Strong commercial understanding of hotel operations and business drivers, with the ability to make marketing decisions grounded in what actually moves results for each hotel - not just brand or creative considerations alone
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activities in line with the Clarion Hotel® brand strategy and the rollout of Clarion Hotel® Norway, in accordance with the set strategy.
  • Ensure that the Clarion Hotel® brand is communicated clearly, consistently and with high quality across all channels, including in local markets
  • Reporting on results in Norway, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Act as project lead for central collaborations and partnerships involving Norwegian hotels
  • Take an active role in the production and execution of marketing activities in Norway to ensure continuity and efficiency.
  • Prioritize activities based on the central plan and the most business-critical commercial initiatives at any given time
  • Report and ensure marketing efforts are accountable for ROI on spend

Local:

  • Hotel & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with General Managers, Director of Operations and local marketing resources to understand needs, set priorities and support effective local marketing execution
  • Support hotels with marketing plans, campaigns and local activations, while ensuring alignment with the central strategy
  • Build strong relationships with hotel teams and act as a marketing sparring partner for local commercial initiatives
  • Follow up deadlines, deliverables and KPIs to ensure structure, momentum and quality across the hotel portfolio
  • Represent Norwegian hotel marketing in relevant meetings and cross-functional projects

Graphic Campaign & Content Production

  • Adapt and produce campaign and content assets across digital and physical channels, including Meta, Google, email, web, digital signage and relevant on-property materials
  • Translate Strawberry campaigns into the Clarion Hotel® brand identity in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing
  • Ensure all marketing material follows brand guidelines while being relevant and effective across channels and hotel environments
  • Maintain and develop templates and campaign assets that enable hotels to execute efficiently and consistently
  • Take a hands-on role in campaign production and execution, using design and content tools such as Canva or InDesign

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, preferably within hospitality, travel or retail, including experience taking full ownership of campaigns and stakeholder relationships without close supervision
  • Proven track record of translating brand and commercial strategy into marketing plans that deliver measurable business results, not only executing on plans set by others
  • Strong understanding of brand building and digital marketing, with hands-on experience across the full campaign lifecycle from planning through execution and evaluation
  • Strong visual and design skills, with hands-on experience adapting campaign assets across digital and physical channels. Working knowledge of tools such as Canva or InDesign is required
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience at a senior level, with the ability to influence and align hotel GMs, operational leaders and other stakeholders who do not report to you
  • Experience managing multiple hotels, campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously in a structured, self-driven and commercially minded way
  • Practical and execution-oriented, with a track record of taking ownership from idea to delivery, not stopping at the concept
  • Fluent in Norwegian and confident in English, with the ability to work effectively in a Nordic, cross-functional environment
