Now we’re looking for a Front Office Manager at Home Hotel Jugend, Helsinki.

As Front Office Manager at Home Hotel, you lead and motivate the team at the heart of the guest experience. You create a welcoming and personal atmosphere, ensure that every stay starts and ends in the best possible way – and inspire your team to do the same, every day. You will be part of the hotel's management team and you'll be responsible for the effective management and smooth operation of the assigned departments. You are accountable for overseeing daily operations and handling multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment, prioritize effectively, and make quick, independent decisions. 

What you'll do:

• Ensure smooth daily operations within the department and uphold the brand’s standards, service, and guest promises – always with the guest in focus.
• Actively participate in daily operations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment – from handling bookings and payments to responding to guest inquiries.
• Take full responsibility for staff management, including scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to help develop and support employees.
• Work purposefully with a focus on both guest satisfaction and employee engagement. View upselling as a natural part of delivering excellent service.
• Optimize the department’s resources and costs to contribute to the overall profitability of the hotel.

This is a permanent full time job, with a start date to be agreed upon.
