Comfort Hotel Solna has 336 rooms, and we serve breakfast to about 85000 guests every year. We are located right next to Strawberry Arena, so when major concerts and events are on, our hotel buzzes with energy!Y

Your Role & Responsibilities

As our Breakfast & Kitchen Manager, you will hold complete operational, financial and personnel responsibility across three key food departments: Breakfast, lunches and dinners. This is a position where you will lead, inspire, and develop a team of about 15 crew members.

Your Food Operations Portfolio:

• Breakfast (Every Day): Oversee and maintain our iconic daily breakfast buffet according to the Comfort Breakfast Manual.

• Lunches (Monday to Friday): Manage and run our weekday HQ lunch menus, serving approximately 150 guests daily (rotated 3 times per year).

• Dinners & Events (Upon Request): Design and deliver delicious dinner offerings and food experiences for our groups and events.

Your to-do list as our Department Manager:

• Lead & Inspire: Manage, recruit, and mentor our Breakfast & Kitchen Crew. You will drive onboarding, regular 1-to-1s, and foster a positive, high-energy team culture.

• Culinary & Operational Quality: Ensure high-quality food delivery across all three meal services, keeping our breakfast buffet, weekday lunches, and event dinners fresh and inviting.

• Financial & Commercial Ownership: Take responsibility for your department's profitability. This includes scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, and daily forecasting to run a smart and efficient kitchen.

• Drive Sustainability: Support our WeCare initiatives by working actively with food waste reduction, incorporating plant-forward options on our menus, and ensuring our daily kitchen routines comply with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards.

• Safety & Hygiene: Maintain top-tier food safety, HACCP, and hygiene routines across all kitchen operations.

As a Manager at Comfort Hotel, you need to be proficient in both English and Swedish. Additional language skills may be beneficial to your application.
